Who will win between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant when they go one-on-one? Jeff Teague is picking his former Milwaukee Bucks teammate and his explanation might be convincing.
Appearing at the Club 520 Podcast, Teague discussed together with hosts a wide range of topics, including the Greek Freak’s career when it all said and done.
The men tried to compare his career to other greats and that’s where Durant’s name was dragged. They started playing hypotheticals.
Of all the people in the room, Teague has the most reliable opinion about this debate, having played against KD for a long time and being part of the Bucks 2021 title-winning team that beat KD-Brooklyn Nets in the semis of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Being in the front seat of the seven-game series between gives Teague a categorical opinion about the question on who will win between MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and MVP Kevin Durant.
Jeff Teague picks prime Giannis Antetokounmpo over prime Kevin Durant
The other hosts have instant opinion about the scoring prowess of Durant who is a one-time scoring champion and won the MVP once.

“KD way better than Giannis,” started one host.
Teague then interjected asking “Is he really better than Giannis?” if it goes down to one-on-one.
He reasoned that Giannis can guard KD better than KD can guard Giannis. He also compared his former teammate to Shaquille O’Neal dubbed as the most dominant ever in NBA history.
“When Giannis get the ball, he goes boom boom boom,” Teague said.
He then recalled the time Nets and Bucks at the semis.
“I watched it. When KD was in Brooklyn, I thought KD was the greatest player I’ve ever seen,” he said.
“[But] half court one-on-one, no screen? Giannis is just too physically strong.”
In the end, the co-host sided with Giannis.
