Tucker Kraft has been turning lots of heads of late with his ever-improving play on the field. He played like a star last Sunday when he helped the Green Bay Packers defeat the Los Angeles Rams on the road, 24-19. If not for Kraft, there was a likely chance that the Packers would have three losses already at this point of the season.
Kraft is one determined offensive weapon for the Packers, and not even opponents talking trash at him could slow him down. For one, he recently admitted that he’s got a terrifying rebuttal whenever someone tries to get under his skin.
“I’m telling people I’m gonna burn their childhood homes down,” Kraft said in a recent episode of Packers running back AJ Dillon’s “Toonen To Dillon Podcast.”
Of course, there’s no way Kraft will actually commit arson just to make people pay for talking junk to him. It’s all mind games, and Kraft is not one to back down from players who try to intimidate him.
Against the Rams, the second-year pro recorded 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four catches and 5 targets. He has three touchdowns on the season and he scored all of those in just the last two games.
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft could be in line for another big game in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals
Emerging as one of the best weapons downfield for the Packers, Kraft can open more eyes this coming Sunday in Week 6 when he and Green Bay lock horns against the visiting Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field.
For what it’s worth, the Cardinals have already allowed three touchdowns to tight ends through five weeks in the 2024 NFL season. Last week, Arizona gave up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown on eight catches and 12 targets to San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.
