The Green Bay Packers will be meeting with several NFL draft players before the 2025 NFL Draft begins. Green Bay could be potentially eyeing some talent from the Texas Longhorns in the 2025 NFL Draft.

One of the biggest needs for the Packers this draft season will be trying to find a number one wide receiver for quarterback Jordan Love. They also need to find some help on the defensive line and also at the cornerback position. It remains to be seen how they will use the 23rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Meeting with players before the NFL Draft will be good for this franchise to gain a better idea what they need to draft this year.
Green Bay Packers Expected To Meet With Texas Longhorns Wide Receiver Isaiah Bond

CJ Vogel reports for the Longhorns media. He reported that Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond is expected to meet with several teams before the 2025 NFL Draft, including Green Bay.

Bond is not predicted to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, his teammates Matthew Golden and Jahdae Barron could very well be drafted in the first-round. There is a chance that both players are available when Green Bay is on the clock with the 23rd overall selection.
As for the Packers meeting with Golden, this is good that they are meeting with another Texas player. Maybe there is a chance that he is still available in the second or third round if they didn’t take a wide receiver in the first-round.
Bond is 5’11” and weighs 180 lbs. During the 2024 season, he caught 34 passes for 540 yards receiving and five touchdowns, along with averaging 15.9 yards per catch. Bond’s longest reception last season was 56 years. He played a nice role in the Longhorns offense last season.
However, the receiver that the Packers should draft is Golden over Bond. There will be some other teams who will need wide receiver help and Golden could be gone by the time Green Bay drafts. Barron is another player that could be on the Packers radar in the first-round. They are keeping their options open. Drafting Bond in the later rounds would be more about depth at wide receiver rather than finding the number one option also.
