The Green Bay Packers have spoken out in the past about wanting the tush push banned from the game. They lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round this season.

On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported, “Packers officially are proposing to ban the Tush Push.”

They were not the only team who proposed different rules on Wednesday. Also, there was an interesting reaction from different NFL fans about what the Green Bay Packers proposed to the NFL.

I’m gonna propose a rule that bans small market Wisconsin from the NFL next…

It doesn’t ban the Tush Push, only players standing behind the quarterback pushing him forward.

Please, it’s awful to watch. Philly should be proud they did something so well that it got banned, that’s what’s happened throughout all sports’ history, but it’s time to get rid of it.

@packers y’all soft as hell. Instead of trying to be the team that overcomes a play and finds the secret weapon to demolishing that play so it becomes a non factor.. You decide you want to get it banned instead. Pathetic

I totally disagree with the @packers, the Tush Push shouldn’t be banned from the @NFL… don’t punish others (more specifically the @Eagles) just because your team is ineffective in executing this offensive play… just sayin’… -DW #NFL #Eagles #Packers #football

Some people are critical of the Green Bay Packers proposing this rule idea to the NFL. Philadelphia Eagles fans were not thrilled about this also.
