One of the biggest issues with the Green Bay Packers last season was finding a consistent pass rush with the team. Rashan Gary led the team with 7,5 sacks.

There is no question that the Packers are going to need to find help in that department in the 2025 NFL Draft. Green Bay couldn’t trade for Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby because they both signed contract extensions with there respective teams. Green Bay will need to find a way to get better at creating a pass rush during the 2025 NFL season.
Latest Mock Draft Has the Green Bay Packers Selecting Texas A&M Edge Rusher Nic Scourton In the Second-Round

NFL.com writer Chad Reuter created a four-round NFL Mock Draft. In the first-round, he had the Packers selecting Texas Longhorns wide receiver Matthew Golden. In the second-round, Reuter has Green Bay beefing up its pass rushing department by selecting Texas A&M edge rusher Nic Scourton.
Scourton was on an Aggies defense last season that was very good and will have several players from that team drafted in the first two rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. Scourton is 6’4″ and weighs 285 lbs. In 2024, he recorded 37 tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble, and two pass deflections. Scourton being available in the second-round for Green Bay would be a good choice for them.
