Hunter Wohler already spent four years with Wisconsin Badgers. Would he mind staying for few more years through the Green Bay Packers.

The 22-year-old safety declared for the 2025 NFL draft happening in Green Bay. He is one of the three players from UW-Madison who decided to go pro with offensive tackle Jack Nelson and offensive lineman Joe Huber being the other two.
The Badgers program is known for having players whose roots are deeply planted in Wisconsin and Wohler is among them.
However, the thought of playing in Green Bay has never crossed his mind.
“That would’ve never crossed my mind,” Wohler told reporter during the press conference for the NFL Combine.
However, he sees the possibility of playing for the Packers a special development in his career.

“Honestly, it’s special because I don’t think in my lifetime the draft will ever be in Green Bay again. It’s definitely special being from Wisconsin, playing in Wisconsin and to have the opportunity to have my name called in Wisconsin as well.”
Green Bay Packers in the 2025 NFL Draft
The Packers have seven draft picks in the upcoming draft day, spread to to the fifth round. Their earliest pick is 23rd overall in the first round.
Wohler landing with Green Bay might not be possible as the Packers’ needs are not his position. They are expected to draft a cornerback or a wide receiver due to the possible departure of some players.

Zack Kruse of Packers Wire does not see the team picking a safety.
For their first round, among the suggest names are DL Derrick Harmon of the Oregon Ducks and cornerback Jahdae Barron from the Texas Longhorns.
Wohler did impress the scouts in the NFL Combine. However, his stock remains at fifth or sixth round.
