The Green Bay Packers, for the first time in years, are enjoying a drama-free offseason. Sure, they fired defensive coordinator Joe Barry earlier this year, but that was a move met with a great deal of praise from the fanbase. Even the subsequent hire of Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley as Barry’s replacement was met with significant amounts of praise.
Of course, a great portion of the offseason drama in past years was centered around four-time NFL MVP and future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Packers’ decision to trade up and select Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft is what really started the saga that ended with Rodgers being traded to the New York Jets last year.
While Rodgers was nothing but a great teammate to Love, his relationship with general manager Brian Gutekunst and the rest of the front office soured. This led to a holdout, the skipping of offseason team activities, and Rodgers’ demand that Gutekunst be fired. These instances do not even include the numerous times Rodgers made headlines for his unorthodox opinions and views while appearing The Pat McAfee Show.
Needless to say, this offseason has been peacefully quiet in Green Bay.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Has Continued to Make Waves for His Views
While the Packers and Love have gone about their business, Rodgers has started to mix more and more podcast appearances into his schedule. Despite missing all but four snaps of the 2023 NFL season due to a torn Achilles, the former Packers quarterback ensured that he remained relevant in the media with his appearances on the The Pat McAfee Show and other podcasts.
Towards the end of the regular season last year, Rodgers made waves on social media with comments he made insinuating a connection between comedian Jimmy Kimmel and the notorious Jeffery Epstein. He also used that platform to challenge Dr. Anthony Fauci and Travis Kelce (who called Mr. Pfizer) to a debate about vaccines and modern medicine.

More recently, Rodgers has gone viral for multiple comments he made in an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. During the hours-long interview, Rodgers talked about a variety of topics, ranging from why he admires Vladimir Putin to the governmental conspiracies.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Suggests Religion Is Used to Manipulate People
Rodgers is known for his belief in alien life and in the supernatural. During his interview with Carlson, he suggested that the government knows of the existence of these beings, but keeps them from public knowledge and could be using religion to manipulate people’s thinking:
“I grew up in the church, and in the church, you know that there’s a battle that’s going on between the seen and the unseen world, between good and evil, between the powers that we can see and the powers that we can’t see.
“And there’s some wild things out there that we don’t know about. And there’s some government secrets we don’t know about. At a bare minimum, whether you believe in alien life, UFOs, UAPs, whatever you want to call it, there’s some technology out there that exists that’s finally have some disclosure that the government or the powers that be don’t I think we’re ready to be given that information, which is wild.
“The thought process is it’s going to change the way that we look at life or religion or whatever.
“That gets in the whole other idea about religion being as a way to control people, control thought maybe, which is pretty wild. But disclosure, I think needs to happen. It’s going to be interesting to see how it happens, where it happens.
“But in my space where I’m at, where I do a lot of plant medicine, the veils between worlds and dimensions gets very thin. So the idea of seeing other entities, seeing angelic type of beings and demonic type beings is very normal. And the idea that there’s a demonic aspect to the UIP phenomenon, I think is very It’s plausible and interesting.”
To recap, using the plant-based medicine that he is known for, Rodgers frequently sees what he has identified as forces of good and evil battling. He also believes that the government knows that these beings, or ones like them, exist, but choose not to disclose it to the general public.
He suggests, though he does not go right out and say, that the reas
