The Green Bay Packers have been in search for a number one wide receiver for quarterback Jordan Love all offseason long. They failed to trade for D.K. Metcalf and the only move they made at the position so far is signing Mecole Hardman Jr.

With a lot of questions about the position entering the 2025 NFL season, the Packers may have to wait until the NFL Draft to address the position. There are some other wide receivers who could potentially be traded before the start of the 2025 NFL season. Green Bay could be linked to making a blockbuster move.
Green Bay Packers 1 of 4 Teams Linked To Trading For Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill

Hill is under contract with the Dolphins for two more seasons. With Miami finishing with an 8-9 record last season, it will be interesting to see if Tyreek Hill will want to finish the rest of his career with the Dolphins or somewhere else.
Sportingnews.com writer Austen Bundy thinks the Packers are one of four teams that should trade for Hill. Bundy said,
“Head coach Matt LeFleur doesn’t have a clear-cut WR1 for quarterback Jordan Love. Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs combined for 2,078 receiving yards in 2024 which was good enough to contribute to an 11-4 record.
But when one of them went down with injury (and they all did at one point) Love and the offense stalled out. Bringing in Hill would give Love a clear cut No. 1 option while creating one of the deepest wide receiver rooms in the league.
That’s going to translate to at least 11 wins and help Green Bay keep up with their ever-surging NFC North rivals in Minnesota and Detroit.”
Hill last season caught 81 passes for 959 yards receiving and six touchdowns, along with averaging 11.8 yards per reception. He was targeted 123 times. Hill is 31 years old and is looking for a team to potentially win a Super Bowl with. The star wide receiver will not win with the Dolphins.
Other Suitors

There were three other teams sportingnews.com mentioned for Hill to be traded to other than the Packers. The Baltimore Ravens, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Dallas Cowboys were the other three. Other than Green Bay, the Chargers would make the most sense because Justin Herbert needs a true number-one wide receiver. Ladd McConkey is a very good number two wide receiver but he isn’t a number one.
If Hill were to be traded to Green Bay at some point this offseason, it would be a good move for this franchise. They need a gamechanger on the offensive side of the football at the wide receiver position. The Packers would get a bonafide number-one wide receiver that this offense needs.
