The Green Bay Packers will be exploring the market for a pass-rusher this offseason. There will be several names to potentially go after.

Very recently, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett requested a trade and there is no question many contenders will look to make a trade for the superstar player. If the Green Bay Packers can’t acquire him, there are other ways they can head in.
Bleacher Report Suggests That the Green Bay Packers Trade For Miami Dolphins Edge Rusher Bradley Chubb This Offseason

It is very possible that the Green Bay Packers could very well make a trade this offseason. They will look for help on the defensive line, cornerback, and wide receiver. The Bleacher Report Scouting Department suggested that the Packers and the Miami Dolphins make a trade. They think that Green Bay should trade away a sixth-round selection in the 2026 NFL Draft for EDGE rusher Bradley Chubb and a 2026 seventh-round pick.
The Bleacher Report Scouting Department said:
“This trade would have the Packers taking advantage of the Dolphins’ tough cap situation to add a veteran pass-rusher. Chubb did not play at all in the 2024 season with a serious knee injury, but taking the entire season off should give him a better chance at returning to form in 2025.
Making the move should be cheap for the Packers in terms of draft capital. There’s inherent risk in taking on a player coming off a major knee injury, and the Dolphins would be getting out of the last three years of his contract. This is a deal that would need to be executed in June to maximize the cap savings for the Dolphins, so the draft compensation would need to take place in 2026.”
What Green Bay is trying to avoid is trading for injury-prone players. It is one of the reasons why they want to potentially move on from cornerback Jaire Alexander this offseason. However, during the 2023 season, Bradley Chubb had 73 tackles, 11 sacks, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two pass deflections.
If Chubb is healthy, it could be worth the risk for the Packers. However, there is a reason why he would be worth a lower-round pick. There may not be much of a market for Bradly Chubb and the Miami Dolphins might be stuck with him for the 2025 NFL season.
Other Options

Other than Myles Garrett and Bradley Chubb being options for the Green Bay Packers, Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders could be another option next year. He was teammates with Josh Jacobs when they played together with Las Vegas.
If those options don’t happen for the Green Bay Packers, then they may have to address the defensive line issues in the 2025 NFL Draft or free agency. Rashan Gary led the team in sacks last season with 7.5 sacks also.
