The Green Bay Packers have not been good this season against teams who have better records than them. They lost to the Minnesota Vikings twice, the Detroit Lions twice, and the Philadelphia Eagles this season. Green Bay may have to face one of those three teams again in the playoffs.
Head coach Matt LaFleur was criticized by many people on Sunday after the loss against Minnesota. There have been times this season when he was outcoached by some of the other coaches.
Mark Tauscher of ESPN Milwaukee Calls Out Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur After Latest Loss Against the Minnesota Vikings
When the game concluded on Sunday between the Packers and the Vikings, Mark Tauscher was on ESPN Radio in Milwaukee with Steve HomerTrue. They talked about what went wrong with Green Bay on the road against Minnesota. Tauscher said:
“I thought Kevin O’Connell ate LaFleur’s lunch today.”
This is not surprising because Kevin O’Connell has outcoached everyone in the league this season. There is a reason why Minnesota has a chance to be the number-one seed in the NFC. Matt LaFleur was outcoached once again by O’Connell. Some Green Bay Packers fans have questioned LaFleur in big games throughout the years.

Been saying it for years, Lafleur freaks out in big games

It’s like he has anxiety issues. HE doesn’t ever quite know what he is going to do and then becomes irratic! Doesn’t go for it on a favorable momentum and then does on a longer one. Like MLF but he hasn’t shown great big game and managment though in those end of half/game moments

MLF is third best coach in the North…and if CHI hires Johnson, he’ll move to # 4.
Not great…

Never let them see you sweat. Matt shows his frustration. He’s certainly allowed to feel that way, but it absolutely hurts the team when he lets it show and affect his decision making.

LaFleur has been coaching the Packers for several seasons. He has made it to the playoffs with Green Bay for two straight seasons with Jordan Love as quarterback after LaFleur was questioned if he would make the playoffs with Love after Aaron Rodgers left. Just like every head coach, they have their strengths and weaknesses. However, losing to Kevin O’Connell again this season has Green Bay fans questioning Matt LaFleur entering the postseason.
