Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave was limited in practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury. Last week, he was active for the game against the Los Angeles Rams, but Musgrave did not see the field for any snaps.
Because Musgrave didn’t see any snaps in the game, Tucker Kraft had his biggest performance to date at tight end for the Packers against the Rams.
Green Bay Packers Tight End Luke Musgrave Not Practicing On Thursday
The Packers’ second-year tight end from Oregon State took a step backward on Thursday in trying to get ready for the Arizona Cardinals matchup on Sunday. According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Musgrave was not practicing and neither was defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt.
This is not good news for Musgrave in trying to be available for Arizona on Friday. His second NFL season has not gone as planned up to this point because he only has caught five passes for 22 yards receiving and zero touchdowns, along with averaging 4.4 yards per reception.

It is a good question by one of the Packers fans in the comments about Musgrave potentially landing on injured reserve. It remains to be seen what his status will be for the game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon at home.
Head coach Matt LaFleur will speak about his status later on. Even if Musgrave were to be active this weekend, Tucker Kraft has taken over as the number one tight end in the Packers’ offense moving forward.
