The Green Bay Packers are down 7-0 early in the first quarter of their NFC Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite receiving the opening kickoff, Green Bay’s offense was not the first one to take the field.
That is because kick returner Keisean Nixon fumble the opening kickoff after taking a helmet to helmet hit from former Packers linebacker Oren Burks.
Despite video review clearly showing Nixon recovered the fumble, officials ruled that the Eagles recovered and awarded them possession of the football.
Green Bay Packers Fans Are Furious with Keisean Nixon
Needless to say, Packers fans were not happy with Nixon despite replay showing that he had recovered the fumble. Below are some social media posts from fans that have been edited due to their explicit nature:

“Nixon been a– and i been saying it all year idk what the packers see in him,” wrote another.
“Man f— Keisean Nixon bean head selfish a–. Take a gahdamn knee punk a– mfer, said another X user.
Needless to say, Nixon may be among the most unpopular players among fans right now. Hopefully he redeems himself later in the game.
