Green Bay Packers center Josh Myers will be a free agent this offseason and it will be interesting to see if they will re-sign him or not. If Myers does leave in free agency, this will be the second straight season that the Packers will have lost a key offseason lineman.
The offensive line is not the biggest need for the Green Bay Packers this offseason. The defensive line, the wide receiver, and the cornerback position are bigger needs. Green Bay will have many interesting options to fix its roster this offseason.
The 33rdteam Has the Green Bay Packers Finding Its Josh Myers Replacement In the First-Round Of the 2025 NFL Draft
The33rdteam.com created another NFL mock draft after the Senior Bowl concluded. Kyle Crabbs has the Green Bay Packers with the 23rd overall pick selecting offensive lineman Grey Zabel from the North Dakota State Bison. Crabbs said:
“North Dakota State offensive tackle Grey Zabel is a highly experienced FCS offensive lineman with the play demeanor to make a successful leap to the NFL level.
He’s tough and gritty, plays through the end of the echo of the whistle, and has developed his frame into an NFL body to afford him the needed functional strength to hold up against pro competition. Zabel has maintained sufficient functional athleticism throughout that body transformation and should be a feasible option in any offensive system — but he’ll need to iron out some technical lapses in order to ensure he’s ready to play.”
Kyle Crabbs also believes that he could be the Josh Myers replacement for next season if they choose not to re-sign him. If the Green Bay Packers do re-sign him for next season, it would not make sense for the team to draft an offensive lineman in the first round. Some felt like Green Bay should not have used that first-round pick on Jordan Morgan last year and there will be other ways for this franchise to go.
