Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is thrilled that his team is trying to be back in the playoffs this season. Last season, he was with the Las Vegas Raiders and Jacobs did not play in the playoffs because the Raiders did not qualify.
The Packers won 34-0 on Monday night against the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay is back in the playoffs once again this season. Josh Jacobs rushed for 69 yards on 13 carries and one touchdown. He also caught four passes for 38 yards receiving.

The Packers players were thrilled after the game that they would be heading to the playoffs once again. One player who is thrilled that they will be heading to the playoffs this year is Josh Jacobs. He told Matt Schneidman of The Athletic after the game was over:
“I mean, we playing for something … it just feels like our ceiling just keep going up. I know for me, man, I’m just happy to be a part of it.”
Jacobs has played a huge role in the Packers’ offense this season. He is one of the reasons why this offense is very dangerous heading into the playoffs. With two games remaining in the 2024 NFL regular season, Josh Jacobs has rushed for 1,216 yards on 278 carries and 13 touchdowns, along with averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
He has also caught 35 passes for 340 yards and one touchdown, along with averaging 9.7 yards per reception. Jacobs has also been targeted 42 times.

There is no doubt that the Packers’ offense benefited from getting rid of Aaron Jones this offseason. Josh Jacobs was an upgrade in Green Bay’s backfield.
