The Green Bay Packers have made history this season by becoming the second-youngest team in NFL history to make it to the postseason. Interestingly, the only team younger than the 2024 Packers to make to the NFL Playoffs was last season’s team.
In Jordan Love‘s first year as the starting quarterback in Green Bay, his pass catching group was made up entirely of rookie and second-year tight ends and wide receivers. Even though no one believed they could be competitive with such a young group on offense, the Packers finished 9-8 and upset the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round.
If they are going to repeat that upset this year, they will need to be as healthy as possible when they face the 14-3 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
Green Bay Packers Quarterbacks Jordan Love and Malik Willis Were Both Limited in Practice on Wednesday

Love, as fans remember, was injured in the Packers’ loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Initially, everyone thought he had hurt his throwing hand on the helmet of a Bears defender. However, it was later revealed at halftime that he had hurt his elbow and could not feel that hand.
Head coach Matt LaFleur stated, though, that he believed that it was not serious and that Love would play against the Eagles on Sunday in the Wild Card game.
On Wednesday, Love was on the Packers injury report and listed as a limited participant in practice.
Malik Willis, who made history in Green Bay’s loss to Chicago, was also listed as a limited participant due to a thumb injury on his throwing hand.
9 Other Green Bay Packers Players Were Listed on the Injury Report
In addition to Love and Willis, nine other Packers players were listed on their initial injury report leading up to their showdown in Philadelphia:
- Zayne Anderson (concussion): did not practice
- Javon Bullard (ankle): limited participation
- Edgerrin Cooper (illness/ankle): limited participation
- Brenton Cox (foot): limited participation
- Andre Dillard (concussion): limited participation
- Romeo Doubs (illness): full participation
- TJ Slaton (ankle): did not practice
- Quay Walker (ankle): limited participation
- Christian Watson (knee): did not practice
- Evan Williams (quad): limited participation
It is notable that Walker and Williams returned to practice, even in the limited sense, because they did not practice at all leading up to Week 18.
Doubs missed the game against Chicago due to falling ill the night before the game.
