The Green Bay Packers will face the Arizona Cardinals at home this weekend with kickoff scheduled for NOON CT. It will be interesting to see which wide receivers will be available for Jordan Love to throw to this weekend.
Arizona is 2-3 on the season and Green Bay is 3-2 to start the 2024 NFL season. This is a trap game for the Packers this weekend.
Bleacher Report Gary Davenport Thinks Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Is a Must Start This Weekend In Fantasy Football
For each NFL game this weekend, Bleacher Report writer Gary Davenport made fantasy football predictions about who fantasy owners should start, bench, and potential sleepers. Davenport thinks that Love is a must-start for fantasy football owners this weekend.
Davenport said about this:
“After a huge Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings, Love’s numbers came back to Earth last week in Los Angeles. He should rebound Sunday at Lambeau Field, as the Cardinals have given up the 10th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.”
Love last week against the Los Angeles Rams, he completed 57.7% of his passes for 224 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He only rushed for 10 yards on three carries and averaged 3.3 yards per rush and didn’t have a rushing touchdown.
Fourth Game Starting This Season
This will be the fourth game this season that Jordan Love will be starting for the Packers. He missed Weeks 2 and 3 with a sprained MCL. Some people still believe that he is not 100 percent, but this could be the weekend when he breaks loose against the Arizona Cardinals.
The only thing fantasy football owners should worry about with Love is him making Brett Favre-like decisions with the football and throwing interceptions. Other than that, quarterbacks have had no problems throwing against the Cardinals’ secondary so far in the 2024 NFL season.
