When the 2024 season ended, Alexander did not meet with reporters. He felt like there was a chance that he was not going to return to the team next season. It would be a major surprise if he did return to the Packers for the 2025 NFL season.
Green Bay Packers Insider Provides Massive Update On Jaire Alexander

There are many Packers fans wondering what the update on Alexander is. The Packers have not made any moves yet. It will be interesting to see what they do with him this offseason. Well, the Athletic’s Matt Schneidman provided a major update about the star cornerback.
He said,
“The future of Green Bay’s best cornerback, Jaire Alexander, remains uncertain. My guess based on what I’ve heard is still that he doesn’t play for the Packers in 2025.”
It is not a surprise that Alexander may not be with the team next season. If Green Bay knows that he is not a part of their future plans, then what are they waiting for? Are they waiting for a trade partner to emerge or are they waiting to release him?
If he is not going to be with them next year, there is no reason for general manager Brian Gutekunst to be waiting to make a move. However, maybe there could be a chance that they could trade him toward the 2025 NFL Draft.
