Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are entering contract years and Watson will miss significant time due to a torn ACL, so the Green Bay Packers must acquire at least one wideout this summer to reinforce their wide receiver room.
Green Bay has been linked to Tee Higgins and Davante Adams, but the team could also turn to the draft, which starts with the Senior Bowl.
Utah State’s Jalen Royals and Iowa State’s Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel have been floated as some of Green Bay’s targets. However, there’s another name to watch in TCU’s Jack Bech.
Bech did well in the Senior Bowl practice sessions, and the 22-year-old wide receiver discussed the idea of joining the Green Bay Packers this summer.
Jack Bech makes his case for the Green Bay Packers
Jack Bech can become the next Green Bay wide receiver because of his immense potential. He stands at 6’1″, weighs 212 pounds, rarely drops passes, and is a solid blocker. Bech even drew comparisons to Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua by Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy.
But more importantly, Bech appears to have an elite mindset which should bode well for his professional career.
