The Green Bay Packers are 11-5 and headed to the NFL Playoffs for the second year in a row, regardless of the outcome of their game on Sunday. Their Week 18 opponent, the 4-12 Chicago Bears, however, are heading for another offseason that will be highlighted by their search for a new head coach.
While a postseason berth has been clinched, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur still intends to play his healthy starters after they got off to yet another slow start on offense. This means that players like Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs will see the field, whether it be for a series, a quarter, a half, or the whole game.
Jacobs did note earlier this week that, while he is going to push for playing as much as possible, he realistically does not believe the coaching staff intends for the starters (him in particular) to have their typical workload.
