The Green Bay Packers take on the Philadelphia Eagles in their Wild Card matchup on the first weekend of the NFL Playoffs later this afternoon. Going into today, several players were listed as questionable with a variety of injuries. Fortunately, Green Bay is getting a few of these players back for the game.
4 Green Bay Packers Players That Were Listed as Questionable Will Play vs the Philadelphia Eagles
According to the Packers website, Quay Walker, Brenton Cox, TJ Slaton, and Evan Williams will play against the Eagles on Sunday.
Slaton injured his ankle in the Week 18 loss to the Chicago Bears and was a limited participant in practice all week.
The other three players listed above, Walker, Cox, and Williams, have all been out for multiple weeks with a variety of injuries. Walker had a high ankle sprain, Cox a foot injury, and Williams hurt his quad in practice a few weeks ago.
The Green Bay Packers List 5 Players as Inactive
While the players listed above are returning from their injuries, other players are still not able to play, or are healthy scratches from the gameday roster. These players are:
- Sean Clifford
- Zayne Anderson
- Christian Watson
- Andre Dillard
- Ben Sims
Anderson and Clifford are still in concussion protocol.
Watson, of course, tore his ACL in Week 18 and will not be playing anymore this year, and may be out for the start of the 2025 NFL season as well.
Clifford is on the roster as the emergency third quarterback. He could play if both Jordan Love and Malik Willis get hurt.
Sims is a healthy scratch.
