The 2025 NFL season is just around the corner, with the start of training camps across the league, including that of the Green Bay Packers, loudly signalling its imminence. The Packers have just gone through their second day of training camp, with Jordan Love and company sweating it out on the field in anticipation of a tough 2025 campaign.
That said, Green Bay is widely regarded as one of the teams to watch out for this year. They have a solid quarterback in Love, an elite running back in Josh Jacobs, an intriguing mix of talented wide receivers and a defense that was top five in the NFL in 2024 in points allowed per game and total yards surrendered per contest.
Winning the Super Bowl is always the goal for the Packers, but topping the NFC North isn’t going to be shabby either. However, Polymarket is giving the Packers just a 26 percent chance to win the division.

It’s been a while since Green Bay won the NFC North. That was back in 2021, when Aaron Rodgers was still running the show for the offense. Since then, the Packers have placed third twice and second once in the division.
Green Bay Packers’ strength of schedule in 2025

The Packers will be facing a tough schedule, at least on paper, in the coming season, largely because they play in the same division that sent all but one of its teams into the NFL playoffs in 2024.
Green Bay’s 2025 opponents have the fifth-highest combined winning percentage in 2024. Only the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles have a higher opponents combined win percentage.
