Defense is not really something Green Bay Packers and head coach Matt LaFleur can brag about. PFF even ranked this area of their game as among the worst in the league and this has a lot do with the lack of premier defender.

The team did not tweak it that much this offseason but it looks like they are going attack defense differently – sheer will and desire.
The Packers continued their practice for the 2025 season and according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, LaFleur felt positive about what he saw from his defenders.
The head coach thought the guys were going hard in each possession.

Other invited reporters posted that there have been extra curricular between players to the point that LaFleur had to punishment.
A lot of extra curricular today. Matt LaFleur gave a lengthy chat to team in post-practice huddle. Had a one on one conversation with Rasheed Walker after that ended with a pat on the hip.

LaFleur was furious with what went down and he made Walker do a lap.
“Can’t recall ever seeing LaFleur get that upset at a player in camp,” noted Aaron Nagler of Cheesehead TV.
Cooler heads prevailed somehow and other players even joined Walker in the lap run.
