The Green Bay Packers, at 3-5, are not exactly lighting the NFL on fire. While their 20-3 win against the Los Angeles Rams in Week Nine was a good step in the right direction, it does not change the fact that the Packers had lost four games in a row before then, and had not scored a first half touchdown in the five games prior.
Of course, much of the team’s struggles, especially on offense, have been due to the youth of the team combined with their inexperience. From dropped passes to wrong routes to poor blocking, there has not been one single thing that the offense has done consistently well all season long.
That being said, they are in the first year of a rebuild, which also coincides with their first year of the Jordan Love era. In other words, these are growing pains; not their identity.

Still, after being one of the best teams in the NFL and the clear best team in the NFC North for years, other teams’ fanbases are taking much pleasure in the Packers’ struggles, and this no more true than in the case of Chicago Bears’ fans.
Chicago Bears Fans Breakout in a “Green Bay Packers Suck” Chant on Thursday Night Football
The Bears earned themselves a rare win on Thursday night, defeating the lowly Carolina Panthers 16-13. The victory improved their record to 3-7 while dropping Carolina to 1-8. Of course, the Bears own the Panthers’ first round pick in 2024 because of the DJ Moore trade.
But that was not what was on the mind of Bears fans after beating Carolina. Oh no; instead Chicago fans were overheard chanting “Green Bay sucks” during the post-game show.
After a game in which they beat Carolina, all Bears fans could think about were the Packers, and Green Bay fans had something to say about it:

As many Cheeseheads were quick to point out, the Packers beat the Bears 38-20 in Week One. Chicago has two more losses than Green Bay and is in last place in the division.
This joke is thrown around a lot, but playing the Packers really is the Super Bowl for Bears fans.
Week 18 is going to be wild.
