It remains to be seen what kind of season former Green Bay Packers franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025.
It’s not just because he’s with a new team and a fresh environment. He’s also already 41 years old and will be 42 in December.
Rodgers proved in 2024 that there’s gas left in his tank despite coming off a devastating injury, when he started in all 17 games for the New York Jets and passed for 3,897 yards with 28 touchdowns against 11 interceptions.

In an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, Rodgers opened up about how much he’s loving his new surroundings.
“I love the yinzers. There’s just something special about the people from this area,” Rodgers said (h/t WTAJ Altoona).
Meanwhile, Peter Schrager of ESPN noticed Rodgers’ positive aura with the Steelers.
Wrote Schrager in a post on X (formerly Twitter): “After today’s @PatMcAfeeShow showcase, hard not to feel the vibes in Pittsburgh are at least a little different than previous summers in Latrobe. Rodgers’ reverence and respect for Tomlin is through the roof; the other players’ for Rodgers is as well. I’m high on Pitt this year.”
Although Rodgers’ best days are now in the past, he’s still considered by many as an upgrade under center for the Steelers, who had Justin Fields and Russell Wilson starting for them in 2024.
