The Milwaukee Bucks are having a roller coaster season and although they are currently in the low side of things, Giannis Antetokounmpo remains confident that they have right now.

Note: The interview was made before the news of the DVT ailment Damian Lillard was diagnosed with.
Talking to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, the Greek Freak expressed confidence to the whole squad with 11 games to go in the regular season.
First, he recognized that things have been extra hard for them given the injuries to the players and the trade that happened on February. The team wanted to spend the second half of the regular season familiarizing with each other but news of suspensions and injuries prevent them from doing that.
Among those who are out for the team are Bobby Portis who is serving 25-game suspension and Jericho Sims who is out until the third week of April after undergoing thumb surgery.

Gary Trent Jr. was also in and out of the line-up. The biggest setback, however, occurred just hours ago when Damian Lillard was confirmed out indefinitely after a scary blood-clot on his leg.
The Bucks are coming off a loss to the Phoenix Suns where they failed to execute a late-game shot, leading to a 106-108 loss.
Giannis Antetokounmpo thinks Milwaukee Bucks remain dangerous
Despite that, Antetokounmpo thinks they still have a competitive squad, thanks to a quality supporting crew.
“I feel like when we lock in as a team, and we go out there and we play together, and we play to win, and everybody does what it requires to win and they stay within their role, I think we’re a very good team. We’re a big team,” he said.
“We have big-time players who can close games. We have great, great role players — great role players, man. We have ballhandlers, people who can create their shots and create plays from starters and people off the bench.”

Antetokounmpo thought they have shown this already and proof to that is their NBA Cup trophy where they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder who have been consistent no. 1-2 this season.
“Like, you never know what can happen. I’ve seen many times teams that click at the right time, and I feel like we can be one of those teams,” he said.
Right now, the Bucks have bigger fish to fry before the postseason. They will deal with the last 11 games without at least prominent rotation players. They are just one game above the Detroit Pistons and could fall to no. 6 if things go awry.
