Milwaukee Bucks’ victory over the Dallas Mavericks is not just another win for Giannis Antetokounmpo. To him, it is something they can build on once they go on a road trip.

The Bucks have not been performing well on the road, just 13-16 after that Mavs win.
It looked like that at the first quarter when the Mavericks finished the first 12 minutes with a 36-31 lead. Second half came and it appeared the stepped on a higher gear as they outscored their hosts, 40-27.
The momentum continued in the third quarter but this it was the defense that punished the Mavs, limiting them to just 16 points while the Bucks themselves scored 30.
The win was led as usual by Antetokounmpo who recorded an almost triple double of 29 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.
Five other Bucks players scored in double digits, the fifth time it happened after the trade deadline.

Damian Lillard had 28 points, six rebounds, and six assists while Brook Lopez had 13 points and two blocks.
Gary Trent Jr. was huge for the Bucks all game long, hitting 3 points shots in transition and set-up plays. He finished with 20 points in 7 out of 15 shooting.
Kyrie Irving did his best for the Mavs with his game-high 31 points but it was not enough.
Giannis Antetokounmpo glazes over Milwaukee Bucks road win
The second half of the season is meant for building chemistry and building good habits. That’s what the Greek Freak has been preaching.
He thought they just that against the Mavs and they were able to show the chemistry they have been working on.

He emphasized how it is important for them to get the road win and thought they can carry that on in their next game.
“We have to be better on the road. We haven’t been good at all on the road this year. This is a big build game. Hopefully we can go to Atlanta and build off this,” he said as quoted by the Athletic’s Eric Nehm.
He also suggested that they don’t really care about where they stand in the conference as their major concern right now.
“But in order for you to win something, win a series or win a championship, you have to be able to have built good habits and win on the road. That’s all I care about. This is a great win on the road and now we have to build off it. If we are nine games over .500 or two games over .500, it doesn’t matter, we just gotta figure out ways to win on the road and we’re going to put ourselves in a position to be successful in the playoffs.”
