Giannis Antetokounmpo hinted at the Milwaukee Bucks having the need to play on the road with a sense of urgency but the results they wanted did not happen against the Golden State Warriors.
The team fell against their hosts, 93-104, their second straight loss. It should be noted that the Warriors played without their top scorer and superstar Stephen Curry.
Warriors built an early double digit lead in the first six minutes of the first quarter. Bucks kept it close before the the first 12 minutes were done.
However, the Bucks, who are also missing key pieces, allowed them to get away in the second half as they scored just 17 points.
Third quarter came and they were able to turn around the 44-58 deficit going into the locker room into a 71-67 lead with two minutes to go in the third.
The fourth quarter was a repeat of the second quarter scoring wise as they were again limited to 17 points against the Warriors’ 26.
Antetokounmpo finished with near triple double of 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Damian Lillard chipped in 16 points, three rebounds four assists. Kyle Kuzma, who led their third quarter run had 22.

The offense was lackluster in minutes that Antetokounmpo was on the bench. He did not start in both second and fourth quarter of the game.
The worst part is that they failed to score in the last four minutes of the game. Their last one before that were free throws by Antetokounmpo.
Giannis said his teammates have been ‘too unselfish’ too a fault in the past games just like on Tuesday against the Warriors.
“I feel like at times it’s just me and Dame trying to be aggressive, and everybody plays through that. I feel the last couple of games, dug in the fourth quarter, we kind of like try to be too unselfish instead of try to go downhill and make something happen,” he said after the game.
“That’s what we do, and then if me and him, we’re not aggressive down the stretch, we don’t execute as well. (If) we don’t, then they’re able to crowd us, then you end up taking bad shots, like the one we did with two minutes and 30 seconds left.”
The Bucks will have a day off and play the Los Angeles Laker at Crypto.com Arena.
