The Milwaukee Bucks weren’t doing anything different from their past games in the first two quarters of their visit to the Sacramento Kings but good thing for them, Giannis Antetokounmpo happened in the third.

The Bucks, now on their third assignment in a five straight games road trip, conceded a 12-point lead after the first half and then allowed the Kings to score four straight points to start the third.
It was looking like yet another loss for them after losing to the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Listless start to the game, unproductive when Giannis is out, lack of aggressiveness – all of these showed in the first 24 minutes.
The Greek Freak, who bemoans the team’s overall lack of intent on what they do, took over starting in 10:59 mark when he hit a 3-meter lay-up.
He finished the quarter with 22 points. He scored 32 points in total, which also came with 17 rebounds, and three assists.

The Bucks did this without Damian Lillard who sat out a second straight game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo says ‘F it’
Losing is tiring and when shots are not falling, you just gotta be hell-bent to willing your team to a victory.
That is what Antetokounmpo did on Saturday.
“I’ll be honest with you — I just said ‘(expletive) it, like I gotta be aggressive,'” Antetokounmpo said when asked about his third quarter performance.
It’s not like he haven’t done that before. He has scored at least 20 points in one quarter alone for multiple games already including one in the NBA Finals of 2021.

“I’ll be honest with you. That’s what I said in my mind. I didn’t say it to anybody. I said it in my mind, you know? So, that’s pretty much it. Sometimes when you play basketball you’re going to have moments like that and you’re like ‘F it,’ I just gotta keep on going every single possession and keep on trying to make the best decision possible for my team.”
