Malik Beasley and the Milwaukee Bucks had a reunion on Tuesday for a crucial NBA Cup game. It was not a great night for him on the court as part of the Detroit Pistons. It was more frustrating outside of it, too.
A video is making rounds the internet featuring the 28-year-old guard being harassed by a Pistons fan after their loss to the Bucks that eliminated them from contention for the in-season tournament.
The team came to the game with high expectations as they won all their three games before the final day.
Beasley, who scored just four points in 18 minutes, is being used as a scapegoat by some Pistons fans for the loss.
The guy, who appears proud of what he is doing since he uploaded it himself on Tiktok, shouted at Beasley, “You suck. You suck.”
Beasley’s teammate Jaden Ivey tried to intervene. The user told the other player “You aight”
Another person stepped in and told the harasser to knock it off but the man replied “I paid a ton.”
It is baffling how Beasley suddenly became unpopular to some fans. Before the Bucks game where he was relegated to the bench, he has been scoring in double digits and is currently averaging 15.3 points per game.
Milwaukee Bucks fans come to Malik Beasley’s defense
Beasley had periods of great run for the Bucks and that is how he is endeared to Wisconsin. This is despite his awful showing in the playoffs.
Many ‘Fear the Deer’ fans came to his defense.
Bucks fans never treated him like this 🤷♂️ https://t.co/bqjygPOzZ8

This is disgraceful behavior. I hope that Malik Beasley knows just how many fans he has! https://t.co/gPLEulsSgP

Other people called out the misbehaving fans not because they are a fan of Beasley but just because it is plainly wrong.
Okay, That’s just too far, Isn’t Malik Beasley one of the reasons why the Pistons aren’t doing so bad this season? https://t.co/oqmzfctfwU

This is both idiotic & loser behavior.
Malik Beasley has appeared in 23 games & has had at most…2 “bad” games. He’s literally been one of the Pistons’ most consistent net-positive players. Although the Pistons are 9-14, he’s been a major factor in their 9 wins! Real ones know! https://t.co/5SbofHDUUk

It is no known what triggered the Pistons supporter. Some speculate it is because of his parlay.
