The Chicago Bears are looking for the 2024 NFL season to come to an end. They will be facing the Green Bay Packers on the road this Sunday. Chicago is 4-12 this season and is on a 10-game losing streak. As for Green Bay, they have an 11-5 record this season and are in the playoffs once again.
After this week, the Bears will most likely be searching for a new head coach for the 2025 season and beyond. As for the Packers, they will either face the Philadelphia Eagles, the Los Angeles Rams, or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the NFL Playoffs.
Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer Drops Bombshell Report For the Chicago Bears Coaching Search Ahead Of the Green Bay Packers Matchup
On Thursday, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer released an article about different questions fans asked him. One fan asked in Breer’s mailbag:
“Frpm Ghost (@RushBaby1980): Is Brian Flores a real possibility for the Bears?”
“Ghost, yes, he is. He’s a Boston College teammate of GM Ryan Poles. He’s in Minnesota, where Kevin Warren worked for a decade and a half—and reviews have come back from the Minnesota Vikings to Warren raving about the job Flores has done. He’ll have to answer, of course, for what went wrong with Tua Tagovailoa in Miami, given that he’d have a young quarterback to raise in Chicago. But, yes, I’d expect the Bears to take a long look at Flores.”
This is going to be very interesting if the Chicago Bears decide to hire Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores as its next head coach instead of Detroit Lions head coach Ben Johnson. The Bears need an offensive-minded head coach and not a defensive-minded head coach. Ryan Poles, the current Bears general manager, could be making another mistake.
Matt Eberflus who was the last head coach for Chicago was a former defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts. Green Bay Packers fans would probably laugh at the Bears once again if they decided to hire Flores over Johnson.

he’s going to hire offensive guys similar to Kevin O’Connell. I trust Flores to lead us.

He is connected to Poles.
Not a QB whisperer.Who would be his OC?
This could be another Head Coach disaster

There were some struggles when Brian Flores was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins and dealt with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. If the Chicago Bears hired Flores, would he be having issues once again with quarterback Caleb Williams? Understandably, Chicago needs a head coach who won’t take any nonsense, but they need someone offensive-minded to develop Caleb Williams or they will continue to be the little brother to the Green Bay Packers.
