The Milwaukee Bucks have to bleed for every point in their past games and in the win against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, Giannis Antetokounmpo took it literally.
He did not bleed trying to score but suffered it on the defensive end when he chased RJ Barrett in the second quarter for a block.
He almost had the block but his pinky finger hit the metal, causing it to bleed profusely.

Antetokounmpo stayed in the game despite the bleeding, something that coach Doc Rivers said he insisted on.
The problem now is that he will need stitches on the wound.
“He needed stitches. He didn’t wanna come out because he felt like he could finish, but it kept bleeding,” Rivers said after the game.
“It definitely was affecting him. You could see it really was hurting his ball-handling a little bit.”
It can’t be said whether the bloody finger affected the two-time MVP or not but Antetokounmpo failed to extend his successive 20-point streak to 28 as he only had 11 points to finish the game.
He settled mostly as a playmaker as he recorded a triple double with 13 assists and 12 rebounds.
Damian Lillard topscored for the Bucks in the win as he recorded 25 points while Bobby Portis contributed 20 from the bench.
Giannis Antetokounmpo speaks up on injured finger
Fans should stop over thinking as the Greek Freak himself announced that it is not a major injury.
However, he will need three stitches on the finger.
“I’m fine,” he said.
“My finger is kind of numb, but I’m fine. I played the second half. It’s just stitches. I’m not going to overthink it.”
They will return to action on Wednesday against visiting Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs?
Injury report will be released hours before tip off but as for his coach, “I think he’s good.”
