Kevin Porter Jr. is leaving no room for his critics to call his great run with the Milwaukee Bucks a fluke as he was once again brilliant off the bench in their win against the Atlanta Hawks.

KPJ, a trade deadline acquisition by the Bucks from the Los Angeles Clippers, scored 15 points, 12 of them in the fourth quarter when the Hawks were trying their best to dictate the tempo, while Antetokounmpo was on the bench.
This is the sixth time in eight games he scored in double digits with his new team.
“Ultimately I want to get in and get them the ball,” he said while taking about his role in the team and superstar teammates.
He is aware, however, that he can also put the ball on the hoop.

“Ultimately I know when it comes down to it I can score and I can be more aggressive, and that’s kind of what you seen tonight. Second half I felt like I needed to be more aggressive downhill, so I turned it up a little bit.”
Kevin Porter Jr. enjoys winning culture
KPJ has been on the league since 2019 but he is yet to have a taste of playoff basketball. He could experience that soon.
The best thing about that is he will be able to reach the playoffs not just as a bench warmer but a key contributor.
That is what he is enjoying right now with the Bucks who have gone 6-1 since the All-Star break.
“I’ve never been on a winning team or organization. I don’t know winning ways, so that’s what I’ve been learning here,” he said as quoted by The Athletic’s Eric Nehm.
“These guys, the environment, the atmosphere, the team – it’s just been team, team, team, team and I’ve been soaking up the knowledge and wisdom from these guys and it’s been beautiful, honestly.”

The Bucks will be back in action in less than 24 hours and with a probable injury to Damian Lillard, expect the Bucks to turn to KPJ again.
