3 milestones Brewers’ players could reach over the final month of the season

As the Milwaukee Brewers enter the final month of the regular season, the focus is on maintaining the best record in baseball and securing a first round bye in the playoffs, but several individual milestones are also within reach. Here are three player milestones to keep an eye on as the regular season winds down.

Three milestones Milwaukee Brewers players could reach over the final month of the season

    Christian Yelich – 100 RBI’s

Over his 13 MLB seasons, Christian Yelich has reached the 100-RBI mark only once, during his MVP season in 2018. He came close again in 2019, finishing with 97 RBIs before an injury cut his season short. Now, with 92 RBIs, Yelich is well-positioned to hit the 100-RBI milestone once again. He’s also on pace to reach 30 home runs, something he hasn’t done since 2019 as well, adding to what’s been a resurgent and impactful 2025 campaign.

    Freddy Peralta – 200 K’s

In 2023 and 2024, starting pitcher Freddy Peralta racked up 210 and 200 strikeouts, respectively. As the 2025 season winds down, he has a chance to hit the 200-strikeout mark for a third straight year—but it won’t come easy. Peralta currently sits at 168 strikeouts, meaning he’ll need to average eight strikeouts per outing over his final four projected starts to reach the milestone. It’s a tall task, but not out of reach for the Brewers’ ace when he’s locked in.

Sal Frelick – .300 batting average and possibly a batting title

Sal Frelick, otherwise nicknamed “The Hit Collector”, currently holds the third-highest batting average in the National League at .298. He’s just behind Trea Turner (.301) and Freddie Freeman (.300), making the batting title race a tight one down the stretch. The Brewers haven’t had a batting champion since Christian Yelich claimed back-to-back titles in 2018 and 2019, and no qualified Milwaukee hitter has finished a season above .300 since. Reaching that mark, and potentially challenging for the title, would be a significant accomplishment for both Frelick and the club.

In addition to individual milestones, the Brewers as a team are chasing a piece of franchise history. The current club record for wins in a season is 96, set in 2018. With just 11 wins over their final 23 games, Milwaukee would match that mark. Finishing above .500 the rest of the way would set a new franchise record, and if they catch fire down the stretch, they could even reach the 100-win milestone for the first time in team history.
