Detroit Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown is probably the most excited to host the Green Bay Packers with his latest public appearances.
He riled up some Packers fans a few days ago with his hoodie that says “Greenbay Sucks” but this time expresses nothing but excitement for their upcoming match up.
The trash talk is not something to be taken serious as his own brother Equanimeous St. Brown is playing for the Packers, too.
The 2023 First Team All-Pro member is aware of the gravity that their Week 14 divisional clash holds and said that he is excited to face their rivals.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said. “Primetime games are always my favorite. Everyone is watching. Big game, divisional game. When we look back four or five weeks from now this game is going to mean a lot, so we’re excited. Can’t wait to get playing.”
St. Brown is not that popular amongst fans because of his hoodie.
Some pointed out that he spelled Green Bay wrong. Others were just sport about saying it adds drama to the rivalry, elevating the entertainment that fans can get once the clash happens.
Amon-Ra St. Brown knows Packers have improved
The Packers only have three losses so far and one of it came from the fangs of the Lions.
The wounds that Lions have inflicted on the Packers may have just made the Wisconsin team stronger as they proceeded to win their next three games, even beating a team like the San Francisco 49ers.
St. Brown is excited about the match-up. He hopes a repeat victory but knows that it will be harder this time.
“Last time we played them, the conditions were a little different than they will be this game. But they are a good team and the last game they lost was against us so they’ve been on a pretty good roll. It’s going to be a good game. I feel like every time we play Green Bay it’s a good matchup.”
The Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers match up will take place at the Ford Field and will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET.
