New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently channeled his inner Santa Claus by giving his offensive linemen some cool gifts this holiday season.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, the four-time NFL MVP gave each offensive lineman a custom Tom Ford suit, a Tom Ford cologne, a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses, a Louis Vuitton passport holder, a stereo speaker, and a bottle of Devils River bourbon.
This is an awesome gesture from Aaron Rodgers, considering the New York Jets o-line failed to protect their quarterback enough this year. Rodgers has been sacked 33 times in 15 matches this campaign.
New York are in the middle of a lackluster 2024 campaign. This year, New York are third in the AFC East with a 4-11 record and are disqualified from the playoffs for the 14th year in a row. The team fired head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas, and Aaron Rodgers even admitted his unclear future with the team.
Aaron Rodgers with the New York Jets this season
Aaron Rodgers is having a subpar campaign by his lofty standards in his first full season with the New York Jets. The 41-year-old has completed 62.8% of his passes for 3,511 yards, with 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also has a passer rating of 90.8, which is his worst since he was a backup behind Brett Favre in Green Bay in 2006, and his 51.9 QBR ranks 23rd in the league.
The New York Jets are coming off a 19-9 loss against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16. Rodgers completed 28 of his 42 pass attempts for 256 yards and one touchdown for long-time partner Davante Adams.
