Wisconsin Badgers remain an attractive destination for high school players and a four-star prospect for Class of 2026 is considering UW among his options.
Defensive lineman Damari Simeon turned to X to announce the remaining 10 teams he is considering for college.
Badgers made the list together with several blue blood programs like Notre Dame, Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State, Texas State, Duke, Maryland, and Syracuse.
Simeon is a 6’3, 275 lbs linesman from St. Augustin Prep.
Badgers Wire’s Ben Kenney said Simeon is not settled yet with his choice of program although there are some that are ahead according to predictions.
“Simeon has yet to receive an official commitment prediction from any of the major recruiting services. For what it’s worth, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine lists Penn State as the current favorite at 31.2%, Duke next at 18.5%, Notre Dame third at 15.8% and Wisconsin tied for fourth at 6.9%.
Simeone made an unofficial school visit to the Badgers on January 26 even if he already received offers from top programs before that.
