The Wisconsin Badgers finished the 2024 college football season with a 5-7 record. They missed a bowl game this season and they have a lot of things to do this offseason. One of the things they have to do is find a starting quarterback.
The quarterback was one of the biggest downfalls this past season for the Wisconsin Badgers. Head coach Luke Fickell will be under pressure to perform in his third season as head coach.
Wisconsin Badgers Schedule Released
On Wednesday, the entire BIG10 Conference received its 2025 college football schedule. The Wisconsin Badgers will open the season against Miami (Ohio) On August 30. The first two games won’t be an issue for Wisconsin. From September 13 to October 25, they will have one of the most brutal stretches in college football.
They will be on the road against the Alabama Crimson Tide on September 13, be on the road against the Michigan Wolverines on October 4, host the Ohio State Buckeyes on October 18, and then head on the road to face the Oregon Ducks.
Also, they will face the Indiana Hoosiers on the road on November 15. This could be one of the toughest schedules that the Wisconsin Badgers will ever face. Wisconsin will be underdogs in a bunch of these matchups next season.

3-9 is going to hit like a freight train next season

Perfect example of why many teams in the BIG10 and SEC will regret conference realignment. A very solid program in Wisconsin has a significantly worse chance of making the playoffs than teams like SMU, Arizona St, etc. now and forever.

Wow… if we play like we did this season, we’ll be at the bottom of the conference with this schedule with 1-2 wins like Purdue was this year.

September 13th to October 25th might be a living hell…..

If the Wisconsin Badgers do not go at least 6-6 next season, there is a very good chance that Luke Fickell will be fired as head coach. Another issue that the Badgers football program faces is NIL money. Eventually, they will need to put more resources into competing in the BIG10 Conference.
