Per Ian Rapoport of the Ian Report, DJ Moore will not be available for the Packers to add via trade. The Packers will have to find help for Aaron Rodgers somewhere besides Carolina, and DeSean Jackson isn’t the answer. The Carolina Panthers are listening to offers for Christian McCaffrey but will not take offers for other players yet to reach their prime, like DJ Moore or Brian Burns, per Ian Rapoport. After firing Matt Rhule Monday and an unknown timeline on quarterback Baker Mayfield‘s return, the Panthers were rumored to be discussing a potential fire sale, unloading talent from their current roster.
The #Panthers are receiving lots of interest in RB Christian McCaffrey and they will, at least, field the calls. A different story for young stars like DJ Moore and Brian Burns.

DJ Moore Value
DJ Moore, 25, was a first-round pick of Carolina in 2018 and has been the focal point of the Panther’s offense in the absence of Christian McCaffrey. In 2021, Moore caught a career-high 93 balls for 1,157 yards and four touchdowns. Moore finished 12th in catches and 9th in yards in 2021.
“I’m like a chess piece out there.” DJ Moore
He is under contract until 2025 after signing a 3-year extension worth 61.9 million dollars in March. It’s understandable why the Panthers would not want to trade Moore, but that doesn’t mean other names on their Roster aren’t available.
Robbie Anderson of the Carolina Panthers could be an intriguing name available. Anderson would cost the Packers substantially less and provide veteran experience and reliability. In 2020, Anderson finished with 95 receptions in his first season as a Panther. He is only 29 years old and came off a season with 53 catches in 2022. Over the past five seasons, he hasn’t finished with less than 50 catches. Anderson is currently under contract with Carolina through 2023 and is playing on a nonguaranteed 8.8 million salary.
