The Green Bay Packers are riding high after their dominant 41-17 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The game was even more out of reach than the final score shows. With less than half of one quarter to go, the Packers were up 41-3. Two garbage-time touchdowns for the Vikings made it look just a tad better. The Packers got help from all three phases of the game on Sunday. Offense, defense, and special teams all contributed in a significant way. One of the players that have made a drastic impact on this team in DB/DR Keisean Nixon, and the NFL recognized him this week.
Keisean Nixon Earns Special Teams Player Of The Week Honors
Nixon had a massive kick return for a touchdown early in the game on Sunday Vs the Vikings that helped propel the Packers to a win. Here is the highlight:

Keisean Nixon has been incredible for the Packers this year. Per Field Yates, Keisean Nixon has an incredible streak running:
Packers DB/KR Keisean Nixon had a 91-yard kickoff return on Christmas and a 105-yard kickoff return TD yesterday. He now has 7 straight games with at least 90 total kickoff return yards, the longest streak in the NFL since 2000. He’s been a massive spark plug for Green Bay.
Seven straight games with at least 90 total kickoff return yards is absurd. It is especially absurd given where the Packers’ Special Teams were just one year ago. What is next for Keisean Nixon and the Packers? The Detroit Lions. They will play the final game of Week 18, and it will be a big one. Lions-Packers on SNF means Detroit will know before kickoff if they have a chance at making the playoffs. A Seattle wins eliminates Detroit and they’ll only be playing to try to ruin Green Bay’s season. A Seattle loss means Detroit and Green Bay go at it for the final playoff spot in the NFC. This will be the biggest game in the Packers-Lions rivalry of recent memory.
