The Wisconsin Badgers’ Florida trip is not over quite yet. The Badgers are leaving the state with offers on the table for some of the best recruits residing there. Wisconsin made a spectacular scholarship offer to one of the highest ranked players coming out of the state in 2024. The big defensive lineman could end up in Madison if the fit is right.
Wisconsin Extends Offer to Ernest Willor
Ernest Willor is originally from Baltimore’s Gilman High School, but transferred to IMG Academy for his junior and senior years. Willor is ranked as a five-star, 98 overall rated recruit by 247 Sports. The speed and strength that Willor possesses is incredible, stopping players in their stride. His athleticism off the edge in particular causes the quarterback to scramble and break the play up.
Willor is a threat to blow up nearly every play he is involved with. Tackles struggle to contain him because of how well the big man moves. Standing in at six foot four inches and weighing 250 pounds, Willor is a menacing player when trying to stop him. His ability and talent has been great enough to rank him as the fourth player in Florida and the third overall defensive lineman in the 2024 class.
Perhaps the most valuable aspect of Willor’s game is that statistics cannot contain it. The pressure he applies and the rushing lanes he cuts off are not recorded. However, it causes offenses to have to plan around him, which ultimately makes him a dangerous player to be up against. The Wisconsin Badgers could always use another monster on their defense. The 2024 five-star is a long shot at the moment for Wisconsin, going up against nearly every top program. However, Willor would certainly enjoy Madison.
