2024 is going to look different for the Wisconsin Badgers and the Big Ten conference. USC and UCLA will join the league. It’s going to make for tougher schedules and more high powered games. There should be a lot more revenue generating and more prime time games. Wisconsin is no stranger to this as it’s been reported two of the Badgers 2024 Big Ten opponents have been revealed.
The Opponents
According to Brett McMurphy of Action Network, Wisconsin will be traveling to USC and Michigan as a part of their 2024 schedule. A list of the major games can be found here for 2024.
USC and Michigan are two of the top teams in college football this season. Because they are blue blood programs who are on a run of success recently, they will always attract big time high school recruits and big time transfer portal players. This is why I think it’s important Wisconsin takes advantage of their schedule this season and in the Big Ten West. It’s unclear how the divisions will work beginning next season, but with USC, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State, the Badgers will be tested even more moving forward.
