The Wisconsin football program has added another 2025 commitment after Wilnerson Telemaque announced his decision.
Telemaque, a three-star defensive lineman in the 2025 class, has announced his commitment to the Wisconsin football program over a livestream. The defensive lineman held 33 total scholarship offers and eventually cut his list down to Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and West Virginia. Wisconsin was the last team to offer a scholarship to Telemaque, and now lands the recruit after making up serious ground.
Wisconsin Football Lands Physical Wilnerson Telemaque Following Intense Recruiting Battle
With the commitment of Telemaque, the Badgers have now locked up their 20th commitment in the 2025 recruiting class. Before the commitment, the Wisconsin football team held a class rank of 13th overall, but likely will move up a position or two now.
Before his commitment, Telemaque recorded two expert predictions to land with West Virginia, which changed in the past week. Following his official visit to Madison, one expert flipped his prediction to Wisconsin and another expert logged a prediction for the Badgers.
Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Adds Excellent Scheme Fit In Telemaque
With the newest Wisconsin football commitment, the Badgers add another player who truly fits beautifully into the scheme. Telemaque, who comes in at 6-foot-6-inches and 250-pounds, plays aggressive and physical football on defense. His swim moves look violent and allow him to blow past offensive tackle with ease.
The defensive tackle can also plow his way through blockers with his strength and leverage, which allows for him to act as a versatile defender for the Badgers.
Who Is Next for the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff?
With the commitment of Telemaque out of the way, the Wisconsin football staff has two main targets within the 2025 class left. Both Hardy Watts and Kyler Garcia are nearing commitments and have the Wisconsin Badgers in their final group of schools. However, Wisconsin may not be able to secure commitments from either recruit after their recent slew of commitments.
The Wisconsin football staff has already added multiple defensive and offensive lineman in both the 2024 and 2025 classes. Watts and Garcia have been in close contact with different programs recently as they near their commitments, which could also be a sign that Wisconsin is out.
