The Wisconsin football staff has landed their second recruit of the day as three-star offensive lineman Ryan Cory has committed to the Badgers.
Ryan Cory, a 2024 three-star interior offensive lineman is also a Pennsylvania native, like fellow commitment Kevin Heywood. Cory currently ranks as the 50th interior offensive lineman in the class and the 24th overall recruit in the state of Pennsylvania. Cory is also the 780th recruit nationally and holds 23 scholarship offers from schools like Penn State, Vanderbilt, and Pittsburgh.
Wisconsin Football Continues Hot Recruiting Run With Three-Star Commitment
The Wisconsin football staff has landed yet another recruit in the 2024 class. Ryan Cory has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers following his official visit on June 2nd. Cory also had official visits scheduled with Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt for later this month, but will not need to take them anymore. Cory received a scholarship offer from the Badgers early in April and made his way to campus shortly after for a visit. After his official visit, Cory felt as though he had made his decision already.
Coming in at 6-foot-4-inches, 290-pounds, with an incredible amount of strength behind his frame, Cory is a dominant offensive lineman. Offensive coordinator Phil Longo recently stated that he was excited to play “Smash mouth football” with the Wisconsin Badgers. The talented offensive lineman fits perfectly into that style of play for the Badgers, and brings a big boost to the 2024 class for Wisconsin.
Cory is the first interior lineman the Badgers have landed in the 2024 class. Cory now joins Kevin Heywood and Derek Jensen as the lineman in the Badgers recruiting class. The Wisconsin football staff has been eager to continue to build their depth, and filling in the offensive line is a great start.
After only landing one lineman in the 2023 recruiting class with James Durand, the Wisconsin football staff should be excited with how the 2024 class is turning out. The Badgers could still be after another lineman in the future, particularly another interior lineman. The Wisconsin Badgers football team has grown by two already today, and may continue to grow in the coming days.
