Wisconsin football just got a needed boost on defense, with former Miami Hurricanes defensive back D’Yoni Hill announcing his commitment to play for the Badgers via the transfer portal. Hill announced X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
“@BadgerFootball 💯 percent committed let’s get to work 🔴⚪️,” Hill wrote as a caption to the post that also showed him wearing a Wisconsin football uniform.
Hill played his first two years in college with the Marshall Thundering Herd before transferring to Miami where he suited up for the 2024 campaign. In his lone season with the Hurricanes, Hill recorded 33 combined tackles with a pass defended and a tackle for loss through 11 games, including five starts.
