After offering a scholarship in May, the Wisconsin football staff has targeted a 2026 wide receiver who believes his size will be key.
Jayden Warren, a 2026 three-star wide receiver from Texas, has been one of the top wide receiver targets in the class for Wisconsin. The Badgers staff love the size and speed that Warren offers, and so have other top programs like Oklahoma, USC, and Kansas. During a recent interview with Wisconsin Sports Heroics, Warren revealed what his recruitment has been like early on.
Wisconsin Football Target Receiver Jayden Warren Aiming For Breakout Season
After appearing and dominating at multiple camps, three-star 2026 wide receiver Jayden Warren was noticed by quite a few programs. The speedy wide receiver currently holds nine scholarship offers, but will surely pick up plenty more offers before the summer is over. Early on, the receiver says that he is “humbled” by the process and understand the work ahead of him.
When asked about who he has been in touch with the most recently, Warren stated, “I would say Kansas, Oklahoma, USC, and SMU have been in touch with me the most.” Warren also stated that he would like to hear from Florida State and TCU in the future as they are both programs he admires.
With a summer filled with camps and another season ahead of him, Warren has the chance to carve out a name for himself with college coaches.
Jayden Warren: “Wisconsin Is a Great School, I Did a Little Research”
One of the programs that has been in contact with Warren following the scholarship offer is the Wisconsin Badgers. Warren has not been in extremely close contact with Wisconsin yet, but has done a fair amount of his own research. The wide receiver stated, “Wisconsin is a great school, I did a little research and the school is great.”
Warren also revealed he has been in contact with Wide Receivers Coach Kenny Guiton when he stated, “I called the wide receiver coach and he’s a great guy.” The wide receiver went on to state, “I feel like me and him will have a great relationship in the future.”
Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Aiming to Develop Future Relationship
As a receiver, Warren has made a name for himself behind his speed, size, and athleticism for the position. The Wisconsin football staff has loved seeing that in Warren, and plenty of other programs will as Warren continues to be noticed by major programs.
For the Wisconsin football staff, the goal at this point in time is to continue to develop their relationship with Warren. The wide receiver takes what a staff says and does very seriously and wants to attend a program that has his back. Like most recruits, Warren is focused on developing a relationship with the staff first before making a decision regarding his future home.
