The Wisconsin football staff received pleasant news today as a physically massive recruit has cut down his list of schools.
2025 three-star defensive lineman Drayden Pavey of Ohio has recently announced his top three schools to be Indiana, Purdue, and Wisconsin. Pavey is a monster of a defensive lineman and there are not many individuals that he cannot move with ease. The recruit is currently scheduled to visit Madison this weekend to meet with the Wisconsin football staff.
Wisconsin Football Makes Final Cut for 2025 Three-Star DL Drayden Pavey

After plenty of consideration, the Wisconsin football program has made the final three list for one of their recruiting targets in the 2025 class. Drayden Pavey, a three-star defensive lineman, has cut-down his list of schools to Indiana, Purdue, and Wisconsin. The Ohio native holds 22 scholarship offers, but made the decision to book official visits with Hoosiers, Boilermakers, and Badgers.
Pavey has caught the eye of teams not just because of his physical strength, but also because of his size at the position. The defensive lineman comes in at 6-foot-3-inches, 305-pounds and still harnesses a burst of speed. Pavey visited Madison earlier this year to meet with the Wisconsin football staff and announced his plans for an official visit a month later.
With Pavey, the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Could Create a Scary Defensive Line

While adding to the defensive line would already be a boost for the Badgers, the Wisconsin football staff would love to add someone like Pavey to the team. Pavey would offer Wisconsin an excellent balance between size, strength, and speed that the defensive line could use in the future. The Badgers currently have four players on their final year of eligibility along the defensive line, with another who would be on his final year when Pavey theoretically arrives.
By the time Pavey would reach campus, Wisconsin football would certainly need the boost along the defensive line that the recruit can provide.
Can the Wisconsin Football Staff Land Pavey Following his Official Visit?

Pavey visited the Purdue Boilermakers first before visiting the Wisconsin football facilities on June 14th. The defensive lineman did not make a decision following his visit, and continue to post to X about his upcoming Madison visit. Pavey could very well become a Badger after his meets with the staff this coming weekend, which would be a big boost to the defensive line for Wisconsin.
