The Wisconsin football staff has booked a big game-day visit with one of the best quarterbacks in the 2027 recruiting class.
Teddy Jarrard, arguably one of the premier quarterbacks in the 2027 class, is a Georgia native who has turned plenty of heads. The quarterback not only possesses a strong, accurate arm, but also has the speed on the ground to make a difference.
Had a great time with the #GoBadger family @CoachPhilLongo @CoachFick and we won the Wisconsin Scavenger hunt. 🔥@jarin_mock26 looking forward to coming back up during the season. @NCCEaglesFb @rvfc10 pic.twitter.com/9INYpkny9j

Jarrard has visited campus in the past and had an ‘excellent’ visit where he was able to meet with the football staff as well. The athlete visited with fellow quarterback and 2026 recruit Jarin Mock, who committed to Wisconsin after his visit.
Jarrard is considered ‘the guy’ by the Badgers staff in regards to the 2027 quarterbacks in particular. Wisconsin believes Jarrard is the top quarterback in the class and would be able to slide into the offense with ease.
Offensive Coordinator Phil Longo has been known to like tall quarterbacks, which is one of the reasons why Longo has added Jarrard to the target list. The quarterback possesses an excellent frame, standing in at 6-feet-3-inches, and nearly 200-pounds with plenty of room left to grown and develop.
The Wisconsin football staff will have another chance to pitch Madison to Jarrard when the quarterback visits in November. Jarrard will be in town to watch the Oregon Ducks take on the Wisconsin football team in a pivotal game.
The Ducks have been a very solid team thus far, with three wins and exciting, narrow battles that displayed the poise of quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
Wisconsin Football Staff Hosting QB Teddy Jarrard During Oregon Ducks Game
While the Wisconsin football team may not have had the best showing against their first ranked opponent, the recruits still loved the experience.
Wide receiver Zachary Washington attended the Alabama-Wisconsin game, and left with a positive impression. While on paper Wisconsin may not beat Oregon, giving Jarrard a taste of what Madison is like when the crown is rocking might be just enough.
Currently, Jarrard holds offers from Virginia Tech, USF, and Wake Forest among plenty of other schools. Wisconsin is arguably the top school to have offered Jarrard and the staff hopes to land a commitment before other schools become involved.
Thus far into his recruitment, Virginia Tech in the expected frontrunner to land Jarrard, according to On3 Sports. The Hokies have been working to land a commitment before Wisconsin swoops in, or other programs who have not extended offers yet.
Great day with Crimson Tide coaching staff @KalenDeBoer @FBCoachSheridan @AlabamaFTBL Thank you for the opportunity to compete with some really good QBs. @NCCEaglesFb @rvfc10 @BALLERSCHOICE1 @SWiltfong_ @adamgorney @BHoward_11 @JohnGarcia_Jr @PrepRedzoneNext pic.twitter.com/Kzp6x1os8I

Georgia and Alabama could be two programs to watch out for moving forward in regards to the recruitment of Jarrard. The quarterback has attended camps at both schools and would be able to not only compete at a high-level at either school, but would also be close to home.
