After landing a commitment out of the transfer portal, the Wisconsin football staff extended a flurry of scholarship offers to high school prospects.
Among the recent prospects offered was four-star safety and top-200 recruit Adryan Cole from Georgia. Cole has been a fast riser in the 2027 recruiting class and has collected 38 scholarship offers and counting up to this point. Texas, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina are some of the biggest offers the talented defender holds, while Big Ten Conference rivals Penn State, Ohio State, and Oregon have all extended offers as well.
Wisconsin Football Staff Extends Scholarship to Four-Star Safety Adryan Cole

The Wisconsin football staff has begun to make aggressive pushes within the 2027 recruiting class, and the recent offers are a perfect example of that.
Cole, a native of Georgia, stands in at roughly 6-feet-2-inches, 195-pounds while providing an excellent balance of skills on the gridiron. The defensive back is currently ranked as the eighth safety in the 2027 class as well as the 106th overall recruit, according to 247sports composite rankings.
The talented four-star recruit is largely considered to be on of the premier safeties in the recruiting class, which has drawn plenty of interest from across the country. The Wisconsin football staff has now joined into the mix and hopes to make a splash quite a ways away from home.
Upon receiving a scholarship offer, Cole stated that the offer “…came together pretty quickly” and was not expected. Cole was heading to his next class of the day when he was stopped for his first real conversation with the Wisconsin football staff, which resulted in a scholarship offer.
Following the offer, Cole stated, “It was exciting to get the offer and I’m definitely looking forward to building more of a relationship with [the staff]”.
How Could the Wisconsin Football Staff Eventually Land Adryan Cole?

While landing a commitment is obviously not a given following a scholarship offer, there are some key actions the Wisconsin football staff could take to make an impression with Cole.
When asked about his recruitment, the defensive back stated, “Building a real relationship with the coaching staff, especially my position coach, is definitely something important to me”. Cole also added that analyzing player development, relationships within the team, and the overall fit in the environment are going to be keys to his recruiting process.
The Badgers may have just gotten a foot in the door, but Cole is someone looking for a school that is committed to the long haul, and that could play in the favor of Wisconsin.
What Could Cole Offer the Wisconsin Football Team on the Field?
Finding the right fit in something that the four-star safety expressed as a key to his recruitment, which could be why the Wisconsin football staff has targeted Cole.
On the football field, Cole is both a versatile and dangerous defensive back who can hurt an offense in a number of ways. In the words of Cole, “On the field, I’m a long, athletic, and versatile defensive back who can line up anywhere in the secondary”, which makes for an excellent defender.
In addition to his ability to line up anywhere against a variety of targets, Cole is also a technical defender who prides himself on his footwork. The defensive back pairs excellent footwork with great range and a mature approach to the game. A four-star rating perfectly fits Cole, but a five-star upgrade could loom with another successful campaign this upcoming season.
The Wisconsin football staff is high on versality amongst skill position players and there is no shortage of versatility with Cole. The dynamic defender has a similar build to former Wisconsin defensive back Amare Snowden, who transitioned over to safety during his tenure.
Wisconsin can achieve the same sense of physicality, range, and defensive prowess out of Cole while also receiving a more mature football mind.
