Following a successful camp with the Wisconsin football staff, a 2026 offensive lineman took the time to speak about his recruitment.

Andrew Trahin, a 2026 lineman with experience playing offense and defense, recently camped with the Wisconsin football staff in Madison. The lineman has been busy since the opening of the 2026 recruiting period, attending multiple camps and meeting with different staff members along the way. During a recent interview, Trahin provided what he feels sets him apart as a recruit, as well what his goals are within his collegiate career.

During a recent camp with the Wisconsin football staff working the drills, 2026 offensive and defensive lineman Andrew Trahin impressed. Trahin has been a versatile player throughout his young high school career thus far, playing offensive and defensive tackle, as well as defensive end. The Indiana native has attended Wisconsin football camps, the Indiana Mega Camp, and will camp with Toledo this afternoon as well.

Trahin also received an invite to the Ole Miss Prospect Camp, who only allow a limited amount of recruits to attend at each time. The lineman is spending the summer to camp and gain exposure as his recruitment has only just started.

When asked about the process, Trahin stated, “The best part about college recruitment has been seeing all my hard work since the third grade pay off.”

Trahin is not a normal lineman, and that is not just because of his versatility and ability to play multiple positions. The lineman believes that he has plenty of skills that have set him apart early on, such as his 6-foot-4-inch frame that he is still growing into. Trahin has proved himself to be a physical tool on the field already while still continuing to grow.

Apart from his physical measurements, Trahin believes that his ability to be coached will also set him apart on the field. Being able to adapt and take criticism is something that many players struggle with, but for Trahin it is all part of learning how to become a better player.

A Scholarship Offer Could Go a Long Way for the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff, Trahin

While the recruitment of Trahin is only just starting for the college programs, the recruit already has his sights set on a specific school. When asked what he sees for himself following collegiate football, Trahin stated, “I see myself graduating from Wisconsin after playing there. Maybe the NFL, but I also want to be a physical therapist.”

Trahin can already see himself becoming a Badger in the future and leaving the school as one as well. When asked about the possible interest level he would have in Wisconsin, Trahin stated, “They are definitely a high interest school.”

As the Wisconsin football staff continues to scout and recruit Trahin, they could open up the possibility of extending a scholarship offer to the lineman.
