The Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball team are struggling on the court and things could get heavier for them as the program gets embroiled in a scandal involving former player Tessa Towers who accuses program of mental health abuse while she was still with them.

Towers, who appeared in just four games for the Badgers and entered the transfer portal in 2023, joined the “You’re funny” trend on Tiktok where users justify their comedic demeanor by dumping their traumas.
The 6’5 center posted 14 slides of it, all of them about his time as a Badger under head coach Marisa Moseley.
She did not mention Moseley’s name but she used the word “my coach” in all the slides.
“My coach and staff said if I were to say anything remotely close to thoughts of su!c!de or de@+h to my therapist, I would be kicked off the team,” she wrote in one of the photos.
She also wrote that she was subjected to a number of rules that applied only to her.
She ended it by saying “I was forced to do a lot of things I didn’t want to do, but at least that experience helped me advocate for myself and mature.'”
Towers has now committed to the Ball State University‘s basketball program.
Another Wisconsin Badgers player come out to support Towers
Ideas that say this is an isolated was instantly quashed when another player from the program came out to show support for Towers.
Tessa Grady, a sophomore guard who has been sidelined this season due to injury, wrote on Towers’ post that her situation is something familiar.

“now this sounds familiar! glad we got out of that sh*t hole!,” she wrote in the comments section.
Another Wisconsin athlete came out show love for her.
“What doesn’t make you stronger kills you! Or sum like that ❤️❤️,” said Laila Edwards who plays for the school’s women’s hockey team.
